Some of Michael Jackson’s gifts to Elizabeth Taylor will be put on auction along side many personal items from the famous actress and Friend of Michael Jackson.
The auction will take place in Beverly Hills on December 6, 7 & 8.
Here some of the items that will be available:
A custom made grisaille wool portrait rug of Elizabeth Taylor, the image from the White Diamonds perfume campaign, gifted to Taylor from Michael Jackson, inscribed lower right, “Elizabeth I Love You, Michael.”
Black satin, red ribbon detailing on sleeves, multi color ribbon epaulets, two front flap pockets with faux brass crest style buttons, seven same button front closure, no label present but designed by Tompkins & Bush, the longtime costume designers for Jackson.
A special presentation piece presented to Quincy Jones for “the sale of more than / 21,000,000 copies” of this most famous album; gifted to the star by Jones himself.
A group of eight vintage Disney Pinocchio items including a Schmid white porcelain figurine, a carved wood seated Pinocchio, a plaster standing Pinocchio with moveable arms, a seated resin figurine with moveable legs, a plush Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket and Figaro, and a cardboard standee signed by Michael Jackson to Elizabeth Taylor on the verso; all gifted to the star directly by her good friend.

A black rayon blend chiffon heavily adorned with various black beads interspersed with large faux rubies and diamonds, boat neck, long sleeves, black beaded ‘fringe’ trim, back zip up closure, no label present, but designed by Gianfranco Ferre; worn by the star on September 10, 2001 in New York City when she attended the gala event honoring her dear friend at Madison Square Garden.
A soft black leather, fitted, adorned with numerous zippers and belts, lined in purple satin, label reads “Dennis Tompkins / Michael Bush” [longtime costumiers to the King of Pop]; Jackson had his design team make this piece based on the jacket he wore in his 1987 “Bad” video, and he gave it to Taylor for her 55th birthday on February 27 of that same year.
1. A classic letterman’s style one of black wool with black leather sleeves, the ‘Dangerous World Tour’ logo stitched on front, an elaborate associated patch sewn on back, label reads in part “Identity Inc. / New York, N.Y.”
2. A classic letterman’s style one of black nylon with red suede sleeves, with numerous and elaborate logos and patches on front including one reading “Michael Jackson,” sleeves, and back relating to the “Mama Concerts + Rau / The Concert Company / MC&R / We Believe in Music” show possibly in Germany, label reads in part “MCM Limited, Southhampton, N.J.;” gifted to the star by her good friend.
3. A standard design in a white and grey striped Mylar type material, featuring an image of Michael Jackson on the front with text reading “44th Anniversary Dinner / United Negro College Fund,” same image on the back but bigger, further record label text on either sleeve, label reads in part “Ty Breakers.”
